
Katherine Groves brings nearly 20 years of community development and affordable housing finance expertise to the Strategic Housing Finance Corporation board. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and North Texas Market Manager for Community Development Banking at PNC Bank, she drives initiatives that strengthen low- and moderate-income communities through financing, philanthropy, financial education, and engagement. She has deep experience structuring community development and affordable housing transactions, leveraging tools such as New Markets Tax Credits (NMTCs), Public Facility Corporations (PFCs), Housing Finance Corporations (HFCs), and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC).
Born in Austin and raised in Round Rock, Director Groves earned a BBA from the McCombs School of Business and a BA in Government from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by a Master of Public Affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. She serves on the fundraising committee for Foundation Communities and the Limited Partnership Advisory Committee for Texas Housing Conservancy.
