We periodically issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to solicit competitive bids for services needed to fulfill our mission of providing quality affordable housing. These RFPs may cover a range of services including property management, resident programs, maintenance and modernization, and more. We aim to provide equal opportunity to all qualified bidders through open procurement processes, and encourage all experienced firms, including women-owned, and minority-owned small businesses with expertise in affordable housing services to consider responding to our RFPs.
The Strategic Housing Finance Corporation of Travis County (Strategic HFC) is seeking qualifications from law firms or individual attorneys to provide ongoing General Counsel legal services. Services will include advising on governance, operations, risk management, compliance, minor litigation, and the coordination of specialized outside counsel. Respondents should detail their qualifications, relevant affordable housing and public entity experience, proposed approach, references, conflicts of interest, and disciplinary history. Rate and fee information is encouraged but not required at initial response. The engagement is anticipated to require approximately 5 to 15 hours per week. Strategic Housing Finance Corporation (Strategic HFC) is launching the $2 million Rosemont Tenant Investment Program (RTIP) to aid approximately 250 former Rosemont at Oak Valley residents impacted by Winter Storm Uri and the property's sale. Eligible households, those residing at Rosemont between February 2021 and April 2023, can receive up to $7,200 for housing affordability and stability. Strategic HFC seeks a non-profit partner with financial management experience and a history of assisting low-income households to administer the 12-month program. The partner will receive pre-compiled recipient contact information and will be required to maintain general liability insurance.
